The European Union has established the Preferential Tariff Arrangements under which it grants preferential tariff treatment (reduced or zero duty) to goods from certain third countries,
which is why it has concluded the preferential tariff agreements under which preferential tariff treatment is granted either unilaterally or on a reciprocal basis.
